Located in Tasmania's Pipers River wine region, Bay of Fires has been creating classic Tasmanian wines for over 30 years. The philosophy, in the vineyard and in the winery, is to ensure the varietal characteristics of Tasmanian fruit are revealed, preserved and celebrated in every wine. Fruit is sourced from hand-picked parcels across Tasmania's distinctive sub-regions, each kept separate so its unique character can be captured at exactly the right moment.
Leading the winemaking team is Senior Winemaker Stewart Byrne a Tasmanian native with a background in Earth Science who studied rocks and soils before turning to wine, with experience spanning Margaret River, Oregon and multiple Tasmanian wineries.
