THE REAL RECOVERY PROTOCOL
"They say the optimal recovery protocol for a 50km training
week involves ice baths and electrolytes.
They obviously haven't tried the 2022 Katnook Estate Shiraz.
After kicking off my carbon-plated racing shoes following a gruelling Sunday long run, pouring a glass
of this Coonawarra classic felt like crossing the ultimate finish line. It opens with
that signature regional pepper and dark plum, backed by tannins that are smoother
than a perfectly executed negative split.
It’s elegant, wonderfully spiced, and instantly tells your central nervous system that the hard work
is done. Pairs exceptionally well with exhausted legs
and a perfectly seared medium-rare steak"

Exceptional depth of flavour
"This wine has exceptional depth, still in its infancy with citrus undertones, spice and acidity.
A real surprise packet."

An Enjoyable Trip Down Memory Lane
"Everything is there in spades, the wine was just beautiful to drink as is but really deserves more time to do it justice.
An amazing wine."

PERFECT PAIRING AFTER A LONG DAY!
"For me, all red wine tastes better after a hard days work but conversely that 'hard day' also amplifies the difference between the average and the exceptional.
This wine falls into the former category in price yet the latter in enjoyment."
