Founded in 1976, Petaluma was built on the belief in carefully selecting the finest viticultural sites within iconic Australian wine regions, planting the right grape varieties specifically suited to each place. The Adelaide Hills is home to Petaluma's winery and cellar door, and the source of some of its finest white wines. The Piccadilly Valley is the coolest viticultural region in South Australia and home to Petaluma's Chardonnay vineyards. Planted on relatively steep north and east facing slopes up to 550 metres in altitude, these vineyards favour delicate Chardonnay flavours and high natural acidity. That same fruit goes into some of the wines from Croser, Petaluma's premium sparkling wine, made in the traditional method from Piccadilly Valley Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, including a Late Disgorged release that demonstrates just how well Adelaide Hills sparkling wine ages.
