Katnook Estate - Rich in heritage, Katnook lies in the heart of the fabled Coonawarra wine region, home to some of Australia's finest terra rossa vineyards. Its history stretches back to 1867, when Scottish immigrant John Riddoch commissioned the building of his woolshed, which still stands at Katnook today. The first commercial vintage was made in 1980 by winemaker Wayne Stehbens in that same woolshed, just as Riddoch had done 84 years earlier. The Estate range is the ideal introduction, approachable and consistently excellent.
