John Reynell is one of the founding fathers of the South Australian wine industry. Established in 1838, Reynella continues the long tradition of creating world class red wine.

Small parcels from a selection of old vine McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards have been blended for this release. The grapes were carefully handpicked and then fermented in small, open fermenters before being gently basket pressed and matured in French oak barriques for up to 17 months.

This Reynella Cabernet Sauvignon is wonderfully aromatic and powerful, with sumptuous fruit intensity and a textural palate. The bouquet exudes perfumed notes of blackberry, plum and violets. The palate is full bodied and complex with vibrant flavours of black current, followed by layers of tobacco, black olive and spice. Perfectly balanced with a long finish and subtle, silky tannins, this wine will reward with careful cellaring for up to fifteen years
