Since 1891 The Bacchus image has been the symbol of the Hardys Tintara Winery which celebrates the enjoyment of fine wine, friendship and merriment. The stained-glass window which adorns this label remains a permanent fixture at the winery.

Hardys Tintara Grenache Reserve was first produced in the early 1990’s with the aim of expressing the qualities of old vine McLaren Vale Grenache.

Spiced fragrances of cloves & sandalwood are complemented by aromas of red plums, rhubarb & raspberry coulis. Subtle notes of stalk, dried herbs & freshly tilled earth merge to add further interest.

The palate is layered with flavours of plum flesh, ripe berry fruits & dark cherry with complexing notes of stalk, peat & hints of amaretto. A wine of balance, elegance & persistence, this stunning example of McLaren Vale Grenache displays purity of fruit and fine lingering tannins.
