Hardys CHAR No. 3 range has been matured in Oak barrels with a number 3 char (second from the highest char level used in wine production), which adds toasty characters and complexity to the wine.

With bright violet with dark purple hues and a bouquet of rich mulberry, dark plum and milk chocolate, layered with fragrant vanilla spice and cedar. The palate displays vibrant dark fruits of blackberry, plum and black cherries balanced by the generous rich texture of charred oak barrels and velvety tannins. Layered use of French oak adding to the roundness and complexity of the wine.
