The B&V Vineyard is on the western escarpment of Mt. Barker in the Adelaide Hills and is planted on micaceous schist soils. Named after Bob and Verner Symons who planted the vineyard in 1992.
Conditions through the 2021 Vintage were ideal. Good winter rainfalls, a warm spring with sporadic rainfall preceded a mild summer with no extreme heat events. The resultant wines have outstanding colour, vibrant and fresh fruit flavours with soft, ripe tannins.

94 Points - Andrew Caillard - "Deep crimson. Lovely pure blackberry, black pepper spice aromas. Dark berried wine with ample blackberry, mulberry, blackcurrant fruits, some cracked pepper/ spice notes, firm chalky tannins and underlying savoury oak. Finishes brambly firm and minerally with a touch of aniseed. Drink now – 2032"
95 Points - Aaron Brasher in The Real Review 2023 "Deep, dark and very youthful in the glass. Fragrant, sweet florals, mulberry, blackberry, iodine, graphite and nutty oak. Deep, dark, decadently rich flavours of plum, dark cherry, spice and oak. Long, layered and fleshy."
