The fruit for this wine is handpicked from the Filsell Vineyard, where the vines here are almost 100 years old, and small portions of fruit are also selected from even older premium vines in the Barossa.

Recently tasted by our head of winemaking who said this wine is "Very plush, full middle with a firm and cleansing tannin.  It's still young with a long future" but we recommend you try a bottle now and pop the rest in the cellar for a couple more years.

95 GOLD POINTS - Halliday Companion 2010 "Deeply coloured and brightly fruited; a big wine with dense fruit, mocha and blackberry, and a lively splash of attractive red fruits; the palate is dense , yet there is a suppleness that provides a fine and focused finish."
