The fruit for this Chardonnay was hand harvested from the Coal River Valley and East Coast regions of Tasmania. Lifted aromas of peach and preserved lemon precede a long, textured palate, carefully balancing vibrant fruit and elegant French oak. A true cool climate style of Chardonnay.
Medium straw in colour, with a green hue. Lifted aromatics of peach and lemon blossom, accompanied by notes of dried thyme and subtle flint reduction. A juicy yet refined palate supported by vibrant acidity and flavours of yellow peach, citrus fruits and roasted hazelnuts. The lively acid line frames a long-textured palate carefully balancing vibrant fruit and French oak.
Cellaring - Drink now or cellar up to 10 years.
Pairs well with Asian Spiced Pork Belly, grilled fish or honeyed haloumi skewers

96 Points – Ray Jordan – Wine Pilot 2025 – “An impressive chardonnay from the Coal River Valley and East Coast regions of Tassie. The nose is intense, offering a lemon-scented honeycomb combination, while the palate is textured with rich depth—lightly roasted cashew, quince, and a subtle savoriness. Impeccably balanced and poised.”
94 Points – Tony Love – Wine Pilot 2025 – “A clever mix of Coal River and East Coast vineyard sourcing brings a fully expressive style of Chardonnay aided by a smartly judged wave of oak that brings a creme caramel and vanilla note with roasted almond/hazelnut underbelly. There’s richness and balance here - plenty of action and ultimately an impressive Chardonnay style.”
