The 2023 Petaluma Hanlin Hill Riesling is pale straw in colour with hues of green. The bouquet is a delightful burst of floral elegance, dominated by aromas of white blossoms and citrus orchards. Notes of jasmine and elderflower dance gracefully, adding a layer of complexity. Zest lime and green apple undertones also emerge.

The palate shows exquisite balance of powerful fruit presence, crispy and textural richness. A refreshing burst of zesty lime and green apple takes center stage with undertones of spiced apple tart and balanced natural acidity that invigorates the taste buds leading to a persistent finish.

Drink upon release but will reward with careful cellaring up to 5 years.

Arresting scent of citrus blossom, lemon drop, lime zest and talc . . .  very Clare. A zesty fresh, juicy, citrussy core of lime punctuated in aromatic jasmine notes and a touch of ginger and Thai basil. A refined, subtle texture made bright by some zippy acidity, just right for early drinking if that is desired. Length is impressive"
