Upper Tintara is typified by its perfumed fruit and its smoky-peat and graphite flavours. The warmth of the vintage enhanced these characters and the 2008 displays generous perfumed "fruit-pastille‟ aromas with savoury flavours contributing to the long fine finish.

Region - McLaren Vale

Vintage Conditions - The lead up to the vintage was warm and dry with small crops of intensely flavoured fruit. The dry conditions of the vintage resulted in an early start to harvesting in the region with little impact of rain or heat periods producing deeply structured wines with vibrancy of fruit.
