95 Halliday Points- "No mention of the percentage split between Margaret River and McLaren Vale, although the fragrance and fruit profile is definitely in the former camp. A rich and powerful wine, in a way, with so much on show – the cassis and mulberries, the tobacco and mint chocolate and a wave of cedary sweet oak. It’s a full-bodied red with layers of tannins and detail. It’s bigger than some will like, but a wine for many." Jane Faulkner - Published 14 June 2024
94 Points - Huon Hooke – The Real Review 2023 “Deep, slightly evolved colour, with thefaintest tint of purple, the bouquet is very inviting, cedar, blackcurrant, tobacco (cigar box) aromas, the palate intense and elegantly formed with intensity and length, elegance andbalance, the tannins beautifully measured and supple, ripe and yet purposeful, impartingbrilliant structure to the palate. An outstanding cabernet which is delicious now but surelyhas a long future ahead of it. (Margaret River & McLaren Vale)”
