This wine comes from a single vineyard, in the Light Pass sub region of the Barossa Valley where the vines are >80 years old. The grapes were hand harvested to protect these ancient vines and to allow for a diverse mix of winemaking techniques to be employed.

AROMA- Brooding, with gravel and graphite characteristics that open up to ripe raspberry and plum fruits and an underlying precise minerality and wet stones aroma.

TASTE- The palate is initially generous and plush with opulent dark reds fruits, all encased in very fine mineral tannins that coat the palate giving enormous length and a powerful rustic edge; generous and deceptively serious.
