The colour is bright, but light red.  The aroma is fresh spicy red fruits and dried herbs.  As a young wine there is a nice tautness, bursting with fresh and bright red fruits on the palate. The cooler vintage has certainly brought forward the finer and more delicate flavours of Pinot Noir, though there is still ample tannin support with a typical regional savoury edge.  A Pinot Noir that will give a little more each time you open it over the next 2-3 years.
