"The super-slurpable (and one of my absolute favourites). This is a seriously good example of what the Barossa does best, and at incredible value." Jill Upton - Cellar One
A wine that displays a bouquet of Raspberry, cherry and blood plum framed by dark chocolate, charred oak and hints of bay leaf. The palate is voluptuous, juicy red berry, dark chocolate and savoury spice flavours with soft flowing tannins, smooth and balanced.
The original European settlers in the Barossa township of Tanunda, where St Hallett winery resides, were known as Blockheads. The Blockhead range is designed to tell their story to a new generation, combining 74 years of St Hallett winemaking expertise with the fruitful drinkability of contemporary Australian shiraz.
