Complex flavours abound in this medium bodied wine with soft gentle tannins, and a long lingering finish. The varietal back-up from the richer plum fruits of the Merlot gives this very drinkable blend a bright fruit lift
A collection of Binder Estate Barossa Valley vineyards in the Stockwell, Vine Vale and Western Ridge subregions contributed fruit with varying characteristics, adding a nice complexity to this wine. The vineyards in the northern region of the Barossa are known for adding depth and weight to a wine, while the vineyards in the Western area give the wine power and great length.
“A rich fruity wine on the palate that is backed up by full ripe fruit flavours of blackberry, cassis, plums and subtle oak. The tannins are soft and gentle and combine with the fruit to enhance the overall flavour of the wine.” - Rolf Binder
