Fruit for Corryton Park is sourced predominantly from the Corryton Park vineyard in the high country of the Southern Eden Valley. This is Barossa varietal Cabernet Sauvignon at its best, showcasing the very cool location of this vineyard’, Craig Stansborough, Chief Winemaker.
Dark and dense purple. Bright and lifted on the nose, with layers of bay leaf, choc mint and cinnamon. The bouquet is a fantastic example of cool climate Cabernet Sauvignon. Vibrant and fresh on the palate, with flavours of redcurrant and traditional black Cabernet fruits, layered on top of very well integrated oak. The tannins are firm and fine, providing a fantastic base for the fruits to carry through for a long finish.
