A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Merlot, this is an assemblage of barrels derived from many individual small batch fermentations. The leading hand of the Cabernet Sauvignon is evident in the dark fruit characters while the input of the other varieties contribute characters of flintiness. Restrained acidity marks the juicy multi-layered palate. Fine fresh powdery tannins help meld the disparate elements together from a sum-of-the-parts blend for a rewarding and deliciously moreish result.
